Jaber Al-Ahmad Stadium

Finally the work on Jabber Stadium is underway. Sadly with all the money and wealth this country has, yet sports facilities are below bar and professionalism. I visited it in its early building phases where i was shocked to see that nothing was done, or shall i say it seemed unplanned at the beginning. Looking at it now, makes think that it really might get a solid famous reputation in the region. Yet again when i look at the other stadiums in the country the touch of sorrows get in to me, they're no fully equipped, nor have what it takes to be a professional soccer ground for matches to be played in.
We all saw the opening ceremony of the 15th Doha Asian Olympics, i personally attended the opening ceremony. " not the issue " what the issue is that the stadium and the whole athletic city was built in around 18 months costing 2.2 billion Qatar Riyals, a complete full equipped sports city with its hotels, modern training facilities, T.V broadcasting units and studios built in around one and a half year, imagine the commitment those guys were in to and imagine us in Kuwait stealing, lying and fighting over a stadium that took approximately 8 years to get planned and 2 years more to start the infra structuring phase. Sadly it may even take another 2 more years to have its doors open for fans and audience.

" A big warm thank you letter for the Kuwaiti Football Association and the directors of the Kuwaiti Sports Committee "

Old -Vs- New

Here are some new corporate logos I've picked up while surfing the net. The old Microsoft logo is not quite memorable by me, i have never saw it, in fact it's the first time i ever see that logo.

Recipes | unleashed !

I was doing my daily Internet surf when i came along this strange title, "strange food and recipes" i thought i was the one with the strange food habits. I'm a ketchup lover, i pour ketchup on anything i eat, like for instance i used to add ketchup while eating those sweet noodles we call "balalee6", or you can see me pouring BBQ sauce on an omelet. The shock came when i read through the page. Seriously I'm nothing compared to that.

forgotten past !

Look familiar ? well, as people say, " old is gold ". These are the first game consoles we nagged our parents about, well at least i did. Hmmm i remember my first time i held the Atari console, especially playing that frog game. where u have to control and help the frog to leap from one side of the road to another, or playing the new modified version of Mario on the Super Nintendo. We can never forget the introduction of Sega Mega drive and its introduction to Sonic and Tails. Frankly speaking i never had an Amiga, i kept nagging, begging for a game that introduced Street Fighter and what a game it was.
What I'm trying to say is that, game console was a vital part of our childhood. People nowadays compare each others childhood by the type and number of game consoles owned by each person during that particular phase of life. " now that's history " but what seems to be the problem is that people still go through those actions and comparisons during their older ages, with the introduction of PS3, people started comparing themselves with the purchase of the new console. " now that's a problem " you see what was so innocent in the past has dramatically and drastically & sadly changed and evolved in to a horrible concept, a concept that has shallowness and materialism written all over it, a concept that states and negatively measure the wealth people have. Frankly it evolved to state one thing " my dad is better than yours "

Guys !! it's just one stupid expensive game that surely will be forgotten and put aside in the near future.

Pepsi | ... Gold

recently Pepsi introduced the new extension of its Pepsi product line, this time it was given the name of Pepsi Gold. The taste is the same, however, the color is completely different, and it really looks weird. Never serve it in a glass of ice, it'll surely get people thinking twice.

du | in the region !

A new telecommunications network will soon be running in the gulf, in the UAE to be in particular. The campaign is amazing, i like what they're offering, it's more like a total package so it's not a monopoly after all, they offer land lines, Internet, t.v cables and mobile line as well. I might consider switching to the new company since they offer the customer to register the number they want, where you end up owning a o55- 7734377 number with the price of 100 AED equal to 8 KD only. That's a good offer i guess.

*I like their web page, it's simple and so ease to surf through. [Link]

got balls?

Oh hell yeah i do ! .. When i heard this from my cousin i was like what the hell, first it's tea leaves, then came the famous Lipton tea bags and now TEA BALLS. I was curious to find out whether they're different in anyway in terms of taste and aroma, and to be frank i was kinda shocked, they do actually taste different that's " good " different and lets not forget the aroma it has. Tea balls come in different tastes as well, keeping the regular smell and taste a side , they also come in banana and mint flavors. I indulged myself with the opportunity to experience the taste and it was fantastic.

* Tea balls are offered in Caribou coffee houses, located in Salhiya and AlRaya complex.
